Tonya, Marita Littauer, and Nancy
Once upon a time, someone told two ladies named Nancy & Tonya they needed to go to a CLASS seminar so they packed up their bags and went to one, where they met Marita Littauer. She taught them all kinds of important things about being writers and speakers.
Then Marita said "You must go to Indianapolis EXPO for CLASS Career Coaching!" So they did and many wonderful things happened there, including Nancy finding a publisher for her book. Then Marita said, "It is time you go to the International Christian Booksellers Association Conference" and they made many friends in the publishing industry.
God had a wonderful plan and now Nancy & Tonya have been published in dozens of books and magazines and speak to woman coast-to-coast.
Nancy & Tonya probably owe Marita a cuppa coffee or two..or three..

Our new best friend, Ellie Kay, went out-on-the-town with us in Hermosa Beach. We yakked our heads off while drinking heavily caffeinated beverages. What fun! She is a queen bee in the publishing industry and we are still newbies compared to her, but Ellie coined a fun phrase when she said , "You're not newbies you're just 'Humble bees'." She was very encouraging and we were privileged to pray together before we parted. A new friend, a hot cuppa coffee and a sweet prayer---A perfect night! www.EllieKay.com

We were envious as we heard constant laughter from the classroom down the hall. The last morning of the Glorieta Writers' Conference - we sat in on Steven's class titled "Growing your own Tale" and got to partake in the silliness. We learned something, too: flying papers can be dangerous.

Lunch With Lynn Vincent
Last year, we went to the San Diego Writers' Conference--masquerading as real writers. It was there we met Lynn Vincent, features editor for World magazine. We've obviously fooled her because she recently went to lunch with us.
